The Saskatchewan Health Authority has identified a positive COVID-19 case in several more Prince Albert schools.

In a media release Tuesday night, the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division said they were informed of positive COVID-19 test results at Westview and Wesmor. Communication is being shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school community.

The learning program will continue remotely only for those students and staff affected while in-person learning will continue for the rest of the school.

As with all such incidents, privacy concerns prevent sharing of further details of the case.

Earlier Tuesday, the Prince Albert Catholic School Division reported COVID-19 cases at two schools – one each at St. Catherine Catholic School and St. John Community School.

In a media release the Prince Albert Catholic School Division said communication of a possible exposure has been shared with specific class/cohort(s), as well as the school community.

The class/cohort(s), impacted by this case, barring any other cases, are required to Self-Isolate as per Public Health instructions.

The class/cohort(s) will be move to remote learning until the isolation period is complete.

School will resume December 9, 2020 for all other students and staff that are not deemed to be close contacts
