St. Louis fireworks display set for liftoff

Not every city is offering a New Year’s Eve fireworks display, for obvious social distancing reasons, but the Lions Club in St. Louis are currently doing final preparations for their annual show tonight.
It happens at 8 p.m. and for those who don’t want to watch from the comfort of their vehicles there will be a Facebook live video stream as well.
This is their 22nd year offering the colourful spectacle and a number of people may be in the mood to wave goodbye to a year they’d rather forget …in a hurry.
Due to COVID restrictions they are unable to have hotdogs and sliding.
