Light of Christ Catholic School Division (LOCCSD) announced another positive case of COVID-19 in an individual from John Paul II Collegiate High School.
In a Monday release, LOCCSD said Saskatchewan Health Authority officials informed them of the positive case on January 10 and that they are working to inform parents and caregivers, as well as perform contact tracing.
Students and families are being reminded to continue practicing preventative measures, such as monitoring for symptoms, mask wearing and physical distancing. Due to privacy concerns, no further details of the situation was shared.
As of January 10, there are 18,110 positive cases of COVID-19 and 191 deaths in the province. There are more than 14,400 recoveries.
