Drugs and weapons seized in search warrant

Members of the Prince Albert Police Street Enforcement Team (SET) and the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) charged several people following a weapons and drug investigation on Jan. 8.

The Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) and Canine Unit assisted investigators in executing a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Seventh Street East last Friday afternoon.

In their search, officers seized body armour, a rifle, a shotgun, several rounds of ammunition, a starter pistol, and varying amounts of illicit drugs, including crack cocaine and meth.

A pair of 25-year-old men are facing various drug and weapons-related charges in connection with the investigation.
