Man charged after gun fired on Mikisiw Drive
A man has been charged with several firearms-related offences following an incident along Mikisiw Drive.
That’s according to an RCMP news release, which states on Jan. 14 at 6:42 p.m., the La Ronge RCMP received a call of vehicle being shot while being driven on Mikisiw Drive. Officers immediately attended to the location and were able to determine the identity of two males who were involved in the incident. No one was injured.
The investigation led to the arrest of 23-year-old Jordan Clinton of the La Ronge district and a 16-year-old male who can’t be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Clinton has been charged with seven firearms-related offences and two breach of probation offences. He appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court on Jan. 15 at 9:30 a.m.
