A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared in the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation.
The Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority made that announcement Friday evening, after “an increasing number of confirmed cases with evidence of community transmission.”
The Meadow Lake Tribal Council Health and Social Development are working with NITHA to contain the outbreak.
