COVID vaccine available to seniors over the age of 70 in P.A.

UPDATE: As of 5:41 p.m. the Saskatchewan Health Authority said in an email the COVID-19 vaccine appointments in Prince Albert are now full. They will not be taking any more appointments until more vaccines become available.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is making the COVID-19 vaccine available for seniors over the age of 70 years old living in Prince Albert.

According to a media release, vaccines are only available by appointment and are available to seniors who are able to travel to the clinics and live independently. The clinics will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 19 and Jan. 20. They have appointments available but will be taken on a first come first served basis.

To book an appointment call 1-877-670-1226. The SHA will require you to bring your Sask. health card to the appointment.

You are not eligible if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 90 days, received any vaccine in the last 14 days and if you’ve already received a dose of the vaccine.
