Fireworks and Fish Fry get the go ahead by Winter Festival Board of Directors

The Prince Albert Winter Festival Board of Directors have completed plans for two of their biggest events to go ahead.

According to a media release, the fireworks and Fish Fry will take place on the Feb. 19 to 21 weekend.

The fireworks on Friday, Feb. 19 will be a drive-in event at 8 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre and Prime Ministers park area.

Those who attend will have to park two metres apart and remain in their vehicles at all times. They will be launched from Kinsmen Field and will be viewable from the Art Hauser Centre parking lot next to the skateboard park and the parking lot on the southside of the area next to Terry Simpson Lane.

On Feb. 20 and 21 the Fish Fry will commence as a drive-thru event at the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre. On Feb. 20 they will be open for business at 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The menu and directions will be posted to the festival’s Facebook page. They’re selling 50/50 tickets to help fund the events. To buy some visit the Facebook page or their website for information.
