COVID-19 Case at St. Mary School

A positive case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in an individual at St. Mary School in North Battleford.
Light of Christ Catholic School Division (LCCSD) was informed earlier today by officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and administrators are now working with Public Health to inform parents and caregivers, while the SHA conducts contact tracing.
Students and families are reminded to be diligent in performing the daily health screening, and maintain other preventative practices. LCCSD will not share or discuss details further, due to privacy concerns.
As of Feb. 1, there are 24,011 positive cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, as well as 21,336 recoveries and 306 deaths.
