Pink Shirt Day initiative to support local Boys and Girls Club
Local clothing store FF2 Get Dressed has partnered with the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club to help raise awareness and stand up against bullying, in support of Pink Shirt Day this month.
In an effort to encourage the community to take part in the national anti-bullying initiative, FF2 will be revealing new specially-designed T-shirts Monday Feb. 8, via their weekly Facebook live video series, ‘Coffee talk with Tammy.’ All proceeds from shirt sales will be donated to the local Boys and Girls Club.
This will be the second year FF2 has partnered with the community non-profit, and the first year the shirts have been designed by a member of the Boys and Girls Club, as nine-year-old, Ryleigh will have her artwork featured on the shirts this year.
Manager of FF2 and host of the coffee talk, Tammy Ramsay said adding the local artwork element to the shirts this year just makes next week’s reveal all the more special.
