Porcupine Plain resident wins $100,000 on Lotto 6/49
A Porcupine Plain Resident is $100,000 richer after winning the Extra on his lotto 6/49 ticket in December.
Jeffrey Smith had the last six digits of the Extra on his ticket matching the Dec. 9 draw.
Smith bought the ticket at the Parkland Co-op C-Store in Porcupine Plain and said in a release he scanned the ticket in the checker three times before realizing he had won $100,000.
“I didn’t really have a reaction to be honest with you,” Smith said in the release, recounting how he passed the ticket over to the cashier to have it verified on their terminal to confirm he was the winner.
