Meth seized by La Ronge RCMP, four people facing charges

As a result of an ongoing investigation, La Ronge RCMP seized methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, Canadian currency and a vehicle last week.
That’s according to an RCMP news release, which states a search warrant was executed Feb. 25 at a residence on Myles Venne Street (Morin’s Hill). In all, seven people were taken into custody and four people were charged.
Juanita Halkett has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and failing to comply with a release order.
Stephen McKenzie, Damien McKenzie and Henry Sanderson have been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime. Damien McKenzie is also facing two charges of failing to comply with a release order.
