La Ronge RCMP charge two people with trafficking cocaine
As a result of an ongoing investigation, the La Ronge RCMP executed a search warrant on March 5.
That’s according to an RCMP news release, which states the search warrant was executed at a residence on Royal Avenue in the La Ronge District. During the search, officers seized cocaine, drug paraphernalia, electronics and Canadian currency.
Police noted three people were taken into custody. Chelsea Ross and David Sanderson were both charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
Both Ross and Sanderson have been released from custody to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 3.
