Meadow Lake and Loon Lake RCMP investigating snowmobile thefts

Meadow Lake and Loon Lake RCMP are investigating multiple thefts involving one snowmobile.
On March 2, Meadow Lake RCMP were alerted to the theft of a snowmobile from a residence in Meadow Lake. After a bulletin about the snowmobile was posted to Saskatchewan Crime Watch, the snowmobile was recovered in Loon Lake later that same day.
On the following night, the compound where the snowmobile was being held was broken into and the snowmobile was stolen again. Loon Lake RCMP were able to locate the snowmobile and arrested a 36-year-old male in connection to the series of thefts.
The investigation is still underway and no charges have been laid at the time of publishing.
