Immunization available through Wednesday in North Battleford for 70+
North Battleford residents 70 years or older can now book an appointment for vaccination from now until Wednesday evening.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority will take bookings from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, with vaccines being administered at a location given upon having completed the booking process. Residents are asked to book online if possible, which is can be done 24/7 using their health card.
Individuals that are not eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at this time include those less than 80 years old who’ve been diagnosed with the virus in the last 90 days, those who’ve received any other vaccine in the last 14 days and those who’ve previously received a COVID-19 vaccine.
After being vaccinated, residents are still expected to continue following all public health orders and guidelines. Immunizations are only available by appointment at this time, due to demographic priority and vaccine availability, and second dose appointments are not available.
