Air Ronge council to consider amendments to Council Procedures Bylaw
Air Ronge village council will be considering some changes to the Council Procedures Bylaw.
That’s according to administrator Gavin Willins, who said the discussion held at a regular meeting Thursday centered on making amendments to bring the current bylaw up-to-date. That could include ensuring public notices appear on public media and more.
“I’m going to be drafting up a few of those amendments and take it to council for the next meeting,” Willins said, noting the next regular meeting is April 20.
In discussing amendments to the bylaw, council also talked about the Town of La Ronge’s code of conduct. Willins said there are no plans to adopt such a measure, but it was brought up because it intertwines with matters in the Council Procedures Bylaw.
