In a statement to meadowlakeNOW, the Meadow Lake RCMP stated they will try to utilize tips and advice from the community after seeing how much it can impact an investigation following the SaskAlert that was used earlier this month.

“As a part of the ongoing crime reduction strategy at the detachment, we are going to utilize the assistance of the public for some of our most wanted offenders. This is the beginning of many releases with respect to wanted persons in the area. The [community] demonstrated the effectiveness of communication through the crime alert that happened last week, and showed how invaluable the local community can be at apprehending suspects.”
