Stanley Mission RCMP seeking ‘dangerous’ man wanted for aggravated assault

UPDATE: Stanley Mission RCMP announced at 5:30 p.m. on March 23 that Robyn Clifford Mckenzie is now in custody.

Stanley Mission RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating a wanted man.

According to an RCMP news release, on March 19 at around 11:30 p.m., the Stanley Mission RCMP were called to a residence on Mckenzie Street after receiving reports of a male with a weapon.

Officers attended the scene and located a female with serious injuries. She received medical treatment at the clinic and was released.

Stanley Mission RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old Robyn Clifford Mckenzie in relation to this incident. Mckenzie has been charged with aggravated assault, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued. Mckenzie is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
