La Ronge RCMP seize crack cocaine after executing search warrant
The La Ronge RCMP executed a search warrant on March 24 at a residence on La Ronge’s Poirier Street as part of an ongoing investigation.
That’s according to an RCMP media release, which states during the search, officers seized crack cocaine, a firearm, a cell phone, drug paraphernalia and Canadian currency. Two people were located inside the residence and arrested without incident.
Sandra Isbister, 44, and Lloyd Nielson, 53, have been charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count for possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, one count of careless storage of a firearm and one count of unauthorized possession of firearm.
Nielson made an initial court appearance March 26 at the La Ronge Provincial Court and Sandra Isbister will appear in the La Ronge Provincial Court on April 12.
