City of P.A. launches rebate for motion sensor lights
A new initiative from the City of Prince Albert is offering residents a discount on motion senor lights.
Launched Thursday, the program is aimed at increasing neighbourhood safety. It was finalized by council last month.
The initiative allows participants to purchase a specific solar-powered motion sensor device for $50 at Canadian Tire. A further $25 rebate is available from the city.
“The City of Prince Albert is pleased to be partnering with Canadian Tire on this community safety initiative,” Kristina Karpluk, planning manager with the Department of Planning and Development Services said in a media release. “Community Safety is a priority, and this program is one step in the right direction.”
