Hydromorphone pills, cash seized by La Ronge RCMP

La Ronge RCMP seized narcotics during a search last week.
According to an RCMP news release, on April 2 at approximately 8:30 p.m., the La Ronge RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Chief James Roberts Street. Quantities of hydromorphone pills and cash were seized as part of the investigation.
Leroy Charles, 43, and Rachel Madsen, 40, have been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Rachel Madsen and Leroy Charles will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 31.
