Celebrating Student Projects

Saint Mary School Project Fair Week

Apr 7, 2021 | 9:35 AM

Each spring, Saint Mary School hosts their Annual Project Fair week.

Due to COVID-19, it was closed to visitors this year but that did not keep students and staff from proceeding and finding creative ways to connect with parents and the public.

Normally, students create trifold and interactive displays that students, parents, and the public are able to view and experience. This year, students studied careers, nature, health issues, countries around the world, and other topics. Then, they created posters about what they learned to be displayed throughout the school hallways.

Each class was then able to tour with their learning cohort to view each other’s work.

Additionally, a video presentation was created and shared to both Edsby and the school Facebook page for viewing. Students worked very hard to demonstrate their learning so please, if you haven’t already done so, check out the video at https://www.facebook.com/saintmary.lightofchrist/

St. Mary School has been hosting the Project Fair for 5 years. It is normally open to parents, senior administration, and community organizations to come and check out.

The topics are determined based on whatever the class is learning about at the time! The students love sharing their work and their learning and, over the years have gained greater confidence and public speaking skills through their participation. They love to get the opportunity to showcase their creativity and learn from their peers.
