Two facing drug charges after drug bust

La Ronge RCMP have charged two people with a number of drug charges.
According to an RCMP news release, on April 5 at approximately 8:00 p.m., the La Ronge RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Far Reserve Road. Quantities of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, cash and firearms were seized as part of the investigation.
Kendrea McDonnell, 25, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000 possession of methamphetamine. McDonnell will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 31.
Dennis Charles, 45, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm and careless storage of a firearm.
