For over 35 years CFSPA has been offering services to the community.

Our mission is to strengthen and support the mental and emotional health of individuals, couples and families in Prince Albert and surrounding area.

Note: You do not have to be a person of Catholic faith to serve on this board.

CFSPA is looking for energetic, passionate people with some of the following qualities:

• Previous experience serving on community or non-profit boards would be helpful but not necessary
• Experience in helping services but not limited to health care, social services, education or corrections
• Specific expertise in Human Resources, I.T., financial management, community development, building maintenance, marketing, advocacy, social media, fundraising or a background in Law would be a huge asset to the board
• Time, energy and commitment to attend monthly board meetings and participate in board projects
• Courage and integrity to guide and lead a dynamic human services agency

Expectations for board members include:

Ø Attend monthly board meetings and actively serve on one of our sub-committees

Ø Commit to 5-6 hours of volunteer time per month

Ø Develop a working knowledge through active participation in strategic planning and board governance functions such as review/approve agency budget, annual work plan, policies…

Ø Advocate for the needs of the agency

Ø Commit to a three year term of office.
