The Light of Christ Catholic School Division is reporting a case of COVID-19 in an individual from JP II Collegiate High School in North Battleford.
The division is working with public health to inform parents and caregivers, while the SHA has begun contact tracing. Parents and students are being reminded to be diligent in undergoing preventative measures. No further details of the individual were shared, due to privacy concerns.
As of April 23, there are 39,392 positive cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, with 36,458 recoveries and 471 deaths. The active case total dropped to 2,463 and hospitalizations are back below 200, sitting at 186.
