LSSD reports three COVID-19 cases in rural schools
Living Sky School Division reported cases of COVID-19 at three different schools in the region last week.
The first case was from Macklin School on April 16, the second was in Hafford Central School on April 20 and the third was at Unity Public School on April 22. The division is working with Public Health to ensure necessary measures are in place, including notifying anyone who was in close contact with the affected individuals. Following a deep cleaning and sanitization, all three schools are open at this time.

As of April 26, there are 39,932 active cases in the provinces, with 36,942 recoveries and 475 deaths. Almost 400,000 vaccinations have been administered.
