10th Annual ELGC Vic Hospital Charity Golf Classic

Apr 27, 2021 | 8:59 AM

The Victoria Hospital Foundation (VHF) is excited to announce that the flex version of our tournament that we held last summer in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions is returning for another golf season.

We’d like to thank Ross & Janet Ethier of the Emma Lake Golf Course (ELGC) for their on-going support of the Foundation and it’s mission to improve healthcare at the Victoria Hospital. They are hosting the tournament this summer with tee times available between May 25th and August 31st, 2021.

Proceeds from the tournament are going to keep our resident van on the road. The dedicated long term care transport van has been invaluable to the mental health and well-being of residents while in lock-down over the past year as it has provided opportunities to get out and about.

Proudly presented by Lake Country Co-op and Emma Lake Golf Course, the 10th Annual ELGC Vic Hospital Foundation Charity Classic is $160 per golfer or $640 for a team of four. Your registration fee includes:

Texas scramble format, 18 holes, carts included

Complimentary meal at the clubhouse whenever is convenient during your game

$110 charitable tax receipt

Chance to win prizes

It’s Simple!

1. Call (306)982-2054 to book your tee time

2. Visit www.helpthevic.ca to register and pay online.

We hope you will join us at the lake this summer and golf to support our residents in Long Term Care. Thank you to Emma Lake Golf Course, Lake Country Co-op, The Prince Albert Daily Herald, Cameco, and WCB WorkSafe for making this event possible.

Lake Country Co-op is proud to support such a fantastic event. As a long-standing cooperative that supports the communities we serve, it is very important for us to be able to provide contributions, especially during these trying times, to organizations that serve so many people in our community. We know that our donations to the Victoria Hospital Foundation benefit the patients right here in the communities we call home. Thank you for this opportunity, and we look forward to what we are sure will be an amazing season. – Tim Keller, CEO, Lake Country Co-op
