May 3, 2021 | 3:22 PM

Lloydminster’s drive-thru immunization clinic is open to the public for an additional six days.

The clinic, located at the Exhibition Grounds, is now open Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Starting May 4, residents 37 and older will be eligible to receive vaccinations on a first come, first served basis.

The clinic may close early if vaccine supply runs out before 4:00 p.m. The SHA is continuing to ask residents who had previously booked an appointment for their vaccination to cancel if they go to a drive-thru clinic.

As of May 3, more than 450,000 vaccines have been administered in Saskatchewan. There are almost 42,000 total positive cases of COVID-19 in the province; 38,911 recoveries and 498 deaths.
