Catholic schools report one new case of COVID-19

The Light of Christ School Division reported one case of COVID-19 from the past week.
The case was found in an individual at John Paul II Collegiate High School in North Battleford. No further details are being shared, due to privacy concerns.
The division has worked with public health to inform the relevant parties and is reminding students, parents and staff to continue to follow protocol. More information on the province’s school plan is available on the Government of Saskatchewan’s website.
As of May 7, there are 42,695 positive cases of COVID-19 in the province, with 39,954 recoveries, 2,239 active cases and 502 deaths. More than 491,000 vaccines have been administered.
