Local Hotel earns spotlight

Comfort Inn and Suites recognized with Gold Guest Satisfaction Award

The Comfort inn and Suites hotel in North Battleford has been named the recipient of a Gold Guest Satisfaction Award this year, recognizing their operational excellence and dedication to superior guest service.

The award comes from Choice Hotels Canada, and is just one of the awards for outstanding guest services given this year to owner, Billy Coles. In addition, Coles’ Econo Lodge in Fox Creek has also won a Platinum Guest Satisfaction Award, for a second consecutive year, and third time in four years (won previously in 2018 and 2020).

Coles said via a statement they are very happy with the recognition.

“We are absolutely thrilled to win these awards from Choice Hotels Canada,” he said. “We would like to thank our committed staff for all their hard work especially during what has been a very tough year.“

President of Choice Hotels Canada, Brian Leon also congratulated Coles on the awards.

To qualify for a Guest Satisfaction Award, hotels are evaluated using a ranking system that includes key performance indicators such as guest survey results. Platinum winners represent the best of the best and are among the top three per cent of hotels in the Choice Hotels Canada portfolio of more than 330 properties, while Gold recipients are among the top four to 10 percent.
