Two women charged with trafficking cocaine and meth
Two women are facing trafficking charges after a traffic stop.
That’s according to an RCMP media release, which states as a result of an ongoing investigation, the La Ronge detachment General Investigation Section conducted a traffic stop on June 1 that resulted in the arrest of two female occupants and search of the vehicle they were operating. During the search, police seized cocaine, methamphetamine, Canadian currency, scales and electronics.
RCMP note 39-year-old Reena McCallum of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order.
In addition, 27-year-old Erica McKenzie of La Ronge has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
