Collision near Kandahar claims life

An man has died after a collision Friday between an eastbound semi and a westbound car on Highway 16 two miles west of Kandahar, Sask.

Wynyard RCMP responded to a call about the collision at approximately 12:45 p.m.

The adult male semi driver was taken to hospital as a precaution, and the lone driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision is under investigation.
