Convenience store being added to Nickle’s Corner Diner in Melfort
A convenience store is being added to Nickles Corner in Melfort.
The idea came after closing the dining room and switching to takeout and delivery out of the banquet room due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Owner/operator Bryce Nicklefork told northeastNOW the store will benefit the neighbourhood.
“The high school is just down the street two blocks, Co-op is moving, there is Legion Place next door, apartment buildings all down Main Street,” Nicklefork said. “Theres a lot of people in this area that have to walk all the way to Shell to get a slush or to get milk late at night or to get little snacks and munchies.”
