La Loche RCMP: ATV collision remains under investigation

The La Loche RCMP are looking into an incident involving an ATV that resulted in the hospitalization of two people.
On July 8, police were made aware of the situation involving the ATV on Polar Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, a subsequent investigation revealed two individuals, an adult male and a female youth, were involved in a collision. Early reports suggest the two were following another ATV before making contact and rolling their vehicle.
The male driver sustained only minor injuries while the youth was transported to hospital in Saskatoon to receive treatment for what are being described as serious injuries. The current status of the youth’s health is currently unknown to police.
The La Loche RCMP detachment says the incident remains under investigation.
