Police searching for missing Meadow Lake senior

UPDATE: The RCMP have reported as of 3:35 p.m. on July 30, Waterhen has been located safe.

Meadow Lake RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating missing 72-year-old man Harold Waterhen.

He is a resident of a local long-term care facility on 3rd Avenue West in Meadow Lake. Reportedly, he left the facility around noon on July 29 and did not return as expected by 6:00 p.m.

Waterhen is described as 5-9, 130 lb, with brown eyes and short, grey hair. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black hat, black shoes and a red windbreaker jacket. He also uses a wheelchair. The detachment said it does not have a photo to provide to the public at this time.

If anyone has information on Waterhen’s whereabouts can call the Meadow Lake RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
