Attempted murder case preliminary hearing set for mid-December

Two suspects said to be involved in an attempted murder are scheduled to make their preliminary court appearance on Dec. 10 at Meadow Lake Provincial Court.
Jonathon Iron and Christopher Nolan from Meadow Lake, Sask. are facing the charge following an incident in January that left one man in hospital.
Officials early reports stated a 20-year-old male was shot at several times by two suspects while in a parked vehicle on Cochin Avenue in Meadow Lake. The driver was hit by one shot while the other two were not harmed. Police also mentioned the vehicle was not in motion at the beginning of the incident, but later struck a power pole and caught fire. The incident was initially believed to be gang-related.
After months of searching, both suspects were arrested despite efforts from Nolan to evade capture.
