Limits removed on number of visitor designates at Humboldt hospital, two indoor limit still in place

The Humboldt and District Health Complex has now moved to the recovery phase according to a post on the Humboldt and District Hospital Foundation’s Facebook page.

The foundation is calling this phase of reopening a, “safe progression towards pre-pandemic Open Family Presence.”

According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), there are currently no limits on the number of essential family/support persons or visitor designations but are limited to two indoors at one time with exceptions in the intensive care, maternal, postpartum, and pediatric units, end of life or palliative care departments.

However, SHA is still asking that visitors follow SHA guidelines for screening, personal protective equipment and distancing.

“Please be advised that family presence restrictions will continue to be reviewed weekly and further levels of restriction may need to be reinstated, depending on local transmission rates and hospital capacity,” the foundation noted on their Facebook page and reminded everyone to be kind and stay safe.
