Oil, gas and infrastructure important topics as Wagantall seeks re-election
Conservative incumbent, Cathay Wagantall, will be seeking re-election on Sept. 20 in her riding of Yorkton-Melville.
The honour of representing the riding, including her hometown of Esterhazy, has been an honour she would like to continue, she said.
“The privilege of being out within the communities, it’s just amazing to see a lot of the common issues that they face,” Wagantall told northeastNOW. “And to also meet people and to see how crucial really rural Canada is to the prosperity and the health and the wealth of the whole nation.”
Infrastructure funding for rural Canada is an important part of the Conservative platform, she said.
