Fire ban in effect

RM of Medstead issues fire ban for municipality

The Rural Municipality of Medstead has issued a fire ban for the municipality due to very dry conditions in the area.

Burning of outdoor fires is not permitted, as well as controlled burns, fireworks, campfires and fire pits.

The ban is in place until there is sufficient rainfall and conditions improve.
