Children injured after firearm discharged into La Ronge apartment

Police are investigating after shots were fired into an apartment on Sunday.

According to an RCMP release, on Oct. 3 at around 10:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired inside of an apartment complex along Boardman St. in La Ronge.

Police said an investigation found a firearm was discharged into a unit in the complex. Three people, an adult woman and two young children, were hit with pellets. They received minor injuries.

Police have since seized a black car.

La Ronge RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP’s La Ronge General Investigation Section are investigating.
