RCMP searching for man who escaped custody

UPDATE: The RCMP are reporting as of Nov. 22, Barry Thomas has been located and remanded to make first court appearance Nov. 23 in Pelican Narrows.

Pelican Narrows RCMP is asking for help in finding a man who escaped police custody.

Barry Thomas, 24, (pictured above) was arrested by Pelican Narrows RCMP on Tuesday and was charged with aggravated assault following an investigation the day before.

He was last seen on McKay Road at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. He fled on foot and ran into a wooded area.
