How Halloween will be celebrated in the northeast
With the COVID pandemic at an all-time high in Saskatchewan, here is information about trick-or-treating and events taking place in the northeast.
Although the pandemic affected Halloween celebrations worldwide, northeastern communities are offering guidelines for trick-or-treating to both candy givers and recipients.
In the Village of Lake Lenore, Halloween will be celebrated starting at 3 p.m on Oct. 31. Despite no official restrictions, the village strongly urges both trick-or-treaters and those handing out candy to wear masks. If not participating, residents are encouraged to hang a sign reading ‘No Trick or Treat.’
On Friday, Oct. 29, the Village of Quill Lake will celebrate Halloween. Kids will be able to trick-or-treat after their school day ends. Village officials announced on Facebook that they would be posting information around town about the changes.
