UPDATE: The Crusaders lost 15-11 to A.E. Peacock.
The John Paul II Collegiate Senior Girls volleyball team is playing for a provincial championship.
For the past two days, the Crusaders had a dominant 4A tournament in Moosomin, going undefeated in round robin play, before sweeping Lumsden and Humboldt to reach the final, Their opponent is A. E. Peacock Collegiate out of Moose Jaw.
The North Battleford Comprehensive Vikings also made the podium this weekend at the 5A girls championship in Swift Current. They defeated Miller Catholic, the Regina city champions, 15-13 in a decisive third set for bronze.
