Porcupine Plain without emergency services this week

A disruption to emergency services this week in Porcupine Plain.

From this morning at 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, both emergency and outpatient services will not be available at Porcupine Carragana Hospital.

No other services will be affected.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority did not state the reason behind the disruption but they do recommend calling 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency. Non-urgent related questions can be directed to the provincial health line by calling 8-1-1.

Emergency Services will still be available at the Kelvington and Tisdale Hospitals.
