TeleMiracle 46 set to feature talent from the Northeast

Murray will perform her rendition of Heart of Stone from SIX for all musical theatre fans.

Murray said this year performers will be sharing their talents virtually.

“I am going in to prerecord in February. They wanted to do live performances but with COVID they weren’t sure if they could.”

Talent will have the option to call in via Zoom to perform on the day of TeleMiracle.

Although this is Murray’s first TeleMiracle, this isn’t the first time she auditioned for TeleMiracle.

“I auditioned once before this and it was about 2016.”

Grace has been featured on TeleMiracle last year singing the song Riptide by Vance Joy but has decided to share a different type of sound this year.

“This song is a little bit more belt heavy and I remember singing it at camp when I was younger,” Grace explained. “I sang it on Instagram much before I had any formal training done and so it’s sort of like a coming of age song.”

Grace offers words of encouragement and reassurance to Saskatchewan talent fearing the audition process.

“Always audition, it’s just getting out and doing it. Go online and Google voice warm-ups. Ultimately the worst thing they can say is no.”

Also being featured during the main show will be A-List Dance & Acrobatics from Humboldt and two groups of dancers from Birch Hills Dance Centre.

The broadcast will be live-streamed on the TeleMiracle website and broadcast on CTV in Saskatchewan.
