Black Lake RCMP charge man with assault

Black Lake RCMP are charging a 35-year-old man after an alleged assault on the First Nation.

On Dec. 11 around 11 p.m., the Mounties found a man on a road in the community suffering from serious injuries. He ended up being transported to a hospital.

Roughly four hours later, Donny Robillard was arrested.

He’s since been charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of assault with a weapon.

Robillard is slated to appear in court in Black Lake on March 1, 2022.
