Carrot River hires new town administrator
The Town of Carrot River has officially hired a new town administrator, after their former administrator, Brennan Hall, had resigned from the position, effective Dec. 30.
In a press release sent to northeastnow the town had they made the resolution to hire Taryn Freemantle as the new Town Administrator, effective Dec. 31, at a special meeting of council held on Dec. 16.
The name may ring familiar to lots in the area, as Freemantle is a local and grew up in Carrot River, going to school and being involved in the community over the years.
Freemantle brings a wealth of education, having received a bachelors degree in Business Administration, a diploma in Business Administration, and a certificate in Ideation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship — all from the University of Regina.
