P.A. fireworks ban still in works, city council considering allowing them on specific holidays
Fireworks continue to be a hot topic for Prince Albert’s city council.
They met earlier this week where they were set to ban low-hazard fireworks within city limits and put in a $500 fine for those caught doing so.
However, Coun. Blake Edwards, who’s been one of, if not the most vocal, against fireworks proposed allowing residents the opportunity to use them on New Year’s Day and Canada Day.
This led to some debate and confusion with P.A.’s council ultimately choosing to move their final vote to their next meeting.
