Community Impact Saskatoon Co-op supported Prairie Spirit School Division's inaugural mamowintowin "coming together" Pow Wow through the generous donation of gift cards. Our committee was able to minimize travel and food expenses for participating dancers and elders through the Co-op's generosity. The gift-cards were happily received by adult (18+) and golden age (55+) pow wow dancers as part of their honoraria. Saskatoon Co-op's support allowed for 150 dancers and 2500 attendees to come together in the spirit of Reconciliation to celebrate student learning and achievement through the vibrancy of Indigenous culture and tradition! Community Impact Saskatoon Co-op's support of our Jeans & Jewels Gala through their Salad Sponsorship will help us to transform provincial maternal and children's health, ensuring it reaches the four corners of our province. Funds raised from this event will help us drive world-class maternal and children's research that will improve health outcomes for Saskatchewan mothers and children. Last year alone, we had over 83,000 visits from babies and children coming from 575 different communities in Saskatchewan. Thank you for helping us support these families. As wildfires continue to displace families and threaten communities across Saskatchewan, broadcasters from across the province are coming together for a united day of action — a province-wide Radiothon in support of the Canadian Red Cross and wildfire evacuees, happening Thursday, June 12.   Saskatchewan Day Of Caring For Wildfire Evacuees is a collaborative effort that will see radio stations across Saskatchewan dedicating airtime throughout the day to raise funds and awareness for those impacted by the 2025 Saskatchewan wildfires.   Funds raised during the Radiothon will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross Saskatchewan 2025 Wildfires Appeal.   Donations to the Canadian Red Cross will be used to assist those impacted by the wildfires in Saskatchewan with immediate and ongoing relief, including financial assistance, support to evacuees and the communities hosting them, recovery and resilience efforts in response to the wildfires, as well as supporting community preparedness and risk reduction for future all-hazard disaster events within Saskatchewan.  Every radio station and media outlet across the province, from Kindersley to Yorkton, Shaunavon to La Ronge, Saskatoon to Regina will be giving the people of Saskatchewan the opportunity to show their care and concern for our province.   How to Get Involved:   • Donate to the Red Cross here: https://www.redcross.ca/SKDAYOFCARING   • Or Text RADIO to 45678 to donate $10   • Share via social media using #SKDayOfCaring
