Raiders with six more players in COVID-19 protocol, Friday’s game vs. Pats postponed
The Prince Albert Raiders will not be heading to Regina as hoped for their second straight game against the Pats at the Brandt Centre after all.
The game was postponed since the Raiders will not have enough players due to injuries and because six more players are entering COVID-19 protocol, the WHL announced on Thursday night.
This is the fifth time this season the Raiders have had one of their games postponed due to COVID-19 protocol; two already have been made up. The Raiders are also scheduled to play on Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre against the Brandon Wheat Kings. Changes have yet to be made to Saturday’s game.
The Pats will still play on Friday, as they will host the Brandon Wheat Kings instead. The Pats and Wheat Kings will make up a previously postponed Jan. 21 game with the switch.
